"If you’re looking for Michelin stars… look away… Food is great! We finished it in a heartbeat. Greeted at the door by the cat server! Ordered fish, chicken, tofu, sambal kangkong and a stir fried veg. Set us back at 150."

"Xin Loong Sing Restaurant: A Northern Malaysia Road Trip Staple! Xin Loong Sing Restaurant is an absolute must-stop and has become a cherished tradition every time my dad drives to Northern Malaysia for lunch. This place truly offers an awesome dining experience! A fantastic insider tip: if you're friendly with the lady boss, you can pre-order a freshly slaughtered live chicken. It takes about an hour to prepare, but believe me, it's absolutely worth the wait. The chicken is incredibly tender and juicy, and the soup it comes in is so naturally tasty – a true highlight. Beyond the incredible chicken, they also offer braised turtles, a unique and traditional dish. What's even better is that the prices are very reasonable, and the portions are incredibly generous. This makes Xin Loong Sing a fantastic value for a delicious and authentic meal on your journey."

"Bentong-Bukit Tinggi area restaurant are infamous for their throats cutting price meal. But not this restaurant where price is clearly list out and stated. Food is geberally tasty good portion and average price. Its serve local chinese cuisines as attached pictures. All food are very well done, do recommend their homemade stuffed "tau pok" which is fried bean cured pocket with generous of stuffed meat. Then the guniess stout pork ribs is nice too. The ginger chicken is so warm hearty, that just the ginger paste could wallop a bowl of rice. Claypot tofu serving is generous with many greens and mushroom mix in. Salted egg fried squid, stir fried vege, deep fried eggplant is average. Serving is good, and the food serve fast. Enviroment can be better, but not an issue at all. Price **** Service **** Food **** Environment***."

"Very crowded place on weekend that has basically no parking. Beware not to park at the main road to avoid saman. On the wall they wrote to warn you not to feel offended if the ladyboss speak loudly, and it is the reality. They don’t feel any guilt when you order something and they keep telling you “no” “out of stock” “finish”…..the young guy has no good expression, then come the ladyboss who speak loud but you can feel her friendliness. She recommend some food based on your group of people. The food taste not bad, price ok. Pork stomach soup is superb and really must order if I come again."

"Friday 11 October 2024 Lunch - good enough to satisfied my cravings. First restaurant that i ate that customize portion based on dishes ordered and number of people. 6 adults (4 people eat) ordered 7 dishes excluding 2 porridge. All portions were small enough, taste yummy and quality good. Recommended 1. Fried brinjal no chilli with garlic (salty enough and not too oily) 2. Steam fish belly with ginger 1.6kg for RM128 3. Yam porridge (yummy, love yam, but kinda starchy) 4. Fat kangkung (sui ung choy) 5. Fried fish 6. Steam egg 3 types (egg, salted egg, preserved egg) Not my liking 1. Steam pork patty (a bit too salty for my liking) 2. Pork with cucumber (a bit too salty for my liking) 3. Plain porridge (starchy not grainy type) Lady boss name is Ah Pou"
